Science and Theology

In our culture, most people assume that science and theology must either be in outright conflict or they must occupy two separate worlds. But...

From Hebrew to Isra'el-Just BE a Tree

Summary - Feb. 8, 2014

Hebrew to Yisra'el - Just BE a Tree

Vayiqra/Leviticus 19:23-25
T'hillim/Psalms 92:12-15
T'hillim/Psalms 1

The focus is on our transitional walk into the study of Torah and Hebraic thought. Ha'Shem has used items of familiarity in natural creation to describe not only our instructions in moral and ethical righteousness but also our psychological and sociological reformation and structures.
As we leave other systems our Egypts and migrate toward Ha'Shem and His Torah, here we are likened as trees.
There are three points we see in all three areas of scripture chapters.

Tree - ets - (strongs 068095 )
Fruit - P@riy (06529) fruit
fruit, produce (of the ground)
fruit, offspring, children, progeny (of the womb)
fruit (of actions) (fig.)
Season - `eth (05703) time
time (of an event)
time (usual)
experiences, fortunes
occurrence, occasion
T'hillim/Psalms 1 tells us what happens and in what process of growth and obedience to Torah brings.
T'hillim/Psalms 92 that is read every Shabbat, shows us, that the ones in right standing (righteousness) have victory this is what the palm (tamar) represents in the scriptures.
Now Ha'Shem is perfect in His instructions, we all want to be planted by Him, be by the fountains of Living Waters (Mayim Chaiyim), but now the question is....when?
This brings us right back to Vayiqra/Leviticus 19:23-25

And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised : three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of. But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the L_RD withal. And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the L_RD your G_d.

We have left Egypt and all it's idolatry, we are walking toward Ha'Shem our King coming in under His reign. This the LAND, your land fresh and fertile for the planting of the seeds our King has supplied through His Torah. This happens to us in so many ways, though there are similarities in our walks this walk is personal relationship time.
There quickly is fruit present but it's not yet ready to share, it's bitter. Why would we share bitterness, and resentments that we psychologically took with us from being in the bondage of Egypt. Ha'Shem says this fruit is uncircumcised (`arel = to remain uncircumcised, count uncircumcised, count as foreskin
to regard as uncircumcised
to remain unharvested (fig.)
(Niphal) to be counted as uncircumcised
He goes onto saying THREE YEARS of not harvesting this fruit, His timing is perfect!
Waiting three years receiving study of Torah whether with a Rabbi, Teacher, Messenger or Ha'Shem Himself. Why? Two of the greatest commands,,,,, Love the Adonai your Elohiym with all your heart, mind, souls and strength and to love your neighbors as yourself (Devarim/Deuteronomy 6:5, 11:13, 30:6 - Mattiyahu/Matthew 25:13)
There is no respect for Ha'Shem mishandling what He has blessed you with, by hurting, murdering or killing your neighbor with your bitter fruit.
The fourth year this same fruit is to the praise of Ha'Shem and He makes it Holy/Kadosh unto Him. We delight and glory in His works and all that He has done, the Living Water that has watered our Land is fresh and pure and feeding our thirst, other see us and hear us doing the will of Ha'Shem, this is glorifying our Avinu in Heaven, HalleluYAH! NOW!!! No picking the fruit! Not Yet.
In the fifth year according the illustrative part of these verses, the fruit can be not only harvested, but available in righteousness to be given out to bare more fruit. WOW!!! Baruch Ha'Shem!!!!
Lastly this fruit increases like wild fire and is always available to bless and serve first Ha'Shem in praise and then our Mishpocah/Family in Him.
Can we as of this day BE a Tree holy and acceptable unto Ha'Shem according to His structure for our Blessed is the man season!!!

What Each Area of the Site is Meant For: Blogs - This is your personal space. This is where you should post thoughts that are not intended for extensive further discussion. Observations from personal study and events that have occurred in your life belong here. Unless your post ends with questions or makes it apparent that discussion is to follow, it should probably be a blog. As discussed later, blogs are limited to those who hold to historic Christian beliefs. Forums - This is for open discussion relating to the topic posted. Dialogue is encouraged to stay on topic, so if a side conversation begins, open a new discussion. This is where the majority of the activity has taken place so far. Topics should remain general in nature, while in depth discussion on narrow topics should take place in groups. Groups - This is a place to congregate with people who have similar interests and positions in order to have open discussion. The conversation in here is not required to remain on topic, so it is more ready to follow rabbit trails. This is where you should go if you want to gather with a particular kind of theologian. Before initiating a new group, we ask that you consider posting a question in the discussion forum area to see if there is enough interest to justify a separate group. The reason we encourage such action is that, in the event that a group is inactive for 6 months or more, the moderators of Scriptural Studies reserve the right to close down and delete the group due to inactivity. Events - This is available to anyone that wants to post an event that you think the members of Scriptural Studies may be interested in. Contact Denis, Rabbi Del, Rifkah, or Marti for more details on advertising. Our Attitude of conduct: In case you missed them on your way in, take some time to become acquainted with the conduct we expect on this site. You may find our Attidudes on the main forum page. Our purpose at Scripural Studies is that the conversations move in a Gracious way. We define Gracious in the following way: 1) Not closed minded 2) Not self-promoting 3) Not characterized by mass amounts of cut-and-paste proof-texting 4) Not characterized by mass amounts of cut-and-paste from other places 5) Irenic 6) Not slanderous 7) No spamming 8) Perpetual venting bitterness 9) Not confusing or disruptive But in all things you'll be welcome here
